As part of an historical project, I'm looking for any and all info any of you may have on Hubert Brundage, the man who commissioned the construction of the very first FV in 1959. It was built in Italy by Nardi and later sold to George Smith and Bill Duckworth for $1. Any info or sources you may have will be greatly appreciated.

This reminded me of something... When Greg and I first got into FV, we purchased a real cheap FV for parts from a guy near St. Louis I think. (Name was Paul Newman. NOT the actor.) It was a Lynx knockoff and in the log book it was titled a "DUCK". Anyone ever heard of it?

Doug,
Sorry I missed this post back in October. There is quite a bit of info on the Nardi and it's owners and origin on the FormulaVee.us website (couple of links directly from the home page. Also check the FV History links on the left side). Jan Brundage (Hubert's son, I think) currently owns the Nardi and has brought it to the FV Anniversary Events each time we've had them since the 45th.

Jan's contact info is available at the FormcarRegistry site (http://formcarregistry.com/Registry.htm).
