2013 worker of the year, line chief for vees at the runoffs and former vee competitor, Gene Peterson has been struck down with cancer and the future looks quite grim.
Gene and his wife Lois are long time members and a guiding force in the Arizona Region.
I know Gene & Lois would appreciate support from their SCCA family and if your path ever crossed with GIno you know what kind of guy he is.

Thanks for posting this Brian, I have only "met" Gene over the phone. His knoledge, experience and enthusiasm for Vee racing helped light the fire under me. I have sent him a letter with photos of the roller I bought last year, it's almost ready for a shake down run.... Jeremy, Tucson
