Rough ride for Skip Streets this past weekend

Post by qposner »

Most of you remember Skip from the West Coast. Rough ride in Vintage FF this weekend. Watch the whole thing for a view from two different cams. Second one is from my dad who races FV as well as Vintage FF: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mb8luPvftc

Ouch.. Is he OK?

Pretty close racing there, did he touch wheels on the front straight when he pulled out from the draft?

He's fine it sounds. Looks to me like Coley Tipton missed a shift and they did touch coming on to the main straight. Also, you can see from my dad's cam that it looks like Skip got hit twice. Once put him sideways and he started to recover. The second put him over. Point being, you can't take a FF that low in T2 at Seattle. FV? Sure. But, a FF will push wide every time. Skip, however, was on the good line. Too bad Coley wasn't.
