ARRC or SEDIV Fall Races for FV

Post by problemchild »

Do any of the SEDIV FV guys have plans to do any fall races .... the ARRC for example.

Is the SIC SARRC event restricted to entrants who have qualified .... or is it open to anyone but visitors are excluded from the Championship scoring?

I am looking for places to bring a FV driver for some fall track time. Thanks!

Greg,

I haven't heard of any Vee driver's going to the ARRC but there could be one or two. The SIC is for SARRC qualifiers only. There is a race at VIR in mid October and if you're just after track time (no head-to-head) there is a Track Trial event at Roebling in November. Lots of track time as we run in 3-4 groups. Sort of like qualifying but with "point by" passing.

Greg,
There is also a track trial with lots of track time at Summit Point 9/26. See WDC home page.

Greg -
The last MARRS race at Summit Point is 10/9-10.
The FV/F500 race will be dedicated in memory of Bill Scott.
There will be the normal FV Rewards drawing giving away prizes, plus substantial additional prizes have been obtained for this memorial race.
For more details see http://www.formulaveeracing.org/billscottfvrace
A big entry is expected.

The ARRC is for non-National classes. Kind of a Regional Runoffs.

Here is the Atlanta Region's description of the 2010 ARRC. You can run your Vee and many other cars now. Just don't run the car in the class that you ran at the Runoffs.

So the SE does have a Vee race this fall; see the Atlanta Region link below

I'll be at the ARRC in my Vee after running it in an FST last year.
