Is a bare transaxle case of any value? I have one and a box full of gears that's taking up space, but I hate to give it away for scrap.

Just guessing here, but couldn't it be used for a transmission? Couldn't resist.

That and a bare block are nice to build cars with as well as using it for a tranny. I would keep it incase you have that unfortunate crash and damage a cse.

If you flip it flywheel side down on the floor, you could build a nice lamp for the living room. Give it to your wife for an anniversary gift. I am sure it will be one she will never forget (neither will you!!!)
