Bugout is a low-key VW car show, swap meet, 1/8 mile bracket drag race, and slalom. It is about 80% air cooled and 20% water. The show always includes VWs of all ages, from bone stock to highly modifed, and rust buckets to concours level. The swap meet will have dozens of vendors with aftermarket, NOS, and junk-yard parts. The judged show, drag races, and slalom have cash prizes for the winners. The slalom is held on the old 3/8 mile Nascar oval (Old Dominion Speedway).
