I recently picked up a new Bell M4 helmet. It came pre-drilled for mounting the retainers for a HANS device. I have a D'Fender restraint. Can these points be used for the D'Fender retainers? They are off by a little from the mounting instructions for my device but I don't know if it will make a substantial difference. Because of the liability issues, nobody reaqlly wants to speak to the issue.

D'Fender installation
Re: D'Fender installation
Well you Piqued my curiosity about the DeFender, Dfender, dafenda).....
Anyway, while searching for info on their site about how to pronounce the name of the product, I found the info below that may be of help.
"What if the helmet already has holes?"
The Defender / DefNder™ Head and neck Restraint real-eaze uses the same hole geometry as specified by the FIA, if it already has holes pre-drilled or has holes drilled to FIA Specifications then you use the same holes.
Let us all know how it works with the D13!

edit: a friend showed me it's "Piqued" not "Peaked" ....thanks JP

Re: D'Fender installation
Andy,
Thanks for the info. I must have missed it when I checked. That certainly makes things simple.
