So, the 1915 goes together tomorrow. I currently have a weber 40. Any recommendations for jets so I don't run too lean at startup. Or are ya'll running the same size jets?

Thanks, Don

Hey,
I am about in the same situation as you and I have no actual knowledge for this issue. I run a 44 Weber with some custom 28mm venturis. I know that I will have to increase the venturi size because of the additional air volume. I am going to check my Weber info and sites today and I will update you if I find anything.

Hey,
I've got this JPEG of the Weber Volkswagen jetting info but I can't figure out how to post it. It has all the info to get started.. Help with info for posting would be appreciated..

Thanks,

JGB

If you will send me your email info I will send the scan to you. Looks like I would have to post it to a website to be able to post it and I really don't have the time to that...

Okay, here's the skinny for your 40IDF:
1835-2000cc 30mm venturi, 1.55 main gas, 1.60 main A/C, F11 E/Tube, .70 idle, .75 p/jet...

It's just a base line and doesn't take into compression ratio, head flow, and cam specifics.. I would think that the main gas could be bumped some.

That at least gives a great starting point!

Thanks for all the info!
