Talent Handicap

I've been away from the car for a year and all the guys at the west coast 45th were encouraging me to get back in. And an Adams in the San Francisco Region is as hard to move as a McCain bumper sticker in Berkeley.

But before I get back in i think we need to have a rule adjustment.

We need to have a talent handicap.

We need to address the afrontery of younguns like Gavin Sweeny, Aaron Meyer and Brad Lloyd. I mean breaking into the 2:09's at T-Hill with just 2 Vee races under one's belts, shows a lack of respect for the more experienced drivers.

I believe that if a driver produces a lap time of less than a 2:14 before racing one full season, that driver's cockpit should be filled with pudding (flavor optional)

And another thing, if i do return to racing i would like the SF region to delete from their regional regs the requirement that in any race in which I am entered, all corner stations must display the white flag for the duration of the time that my car is running.

Actually........... Aaron turned a 207:10 in the first race this past weekend, which was only 2 tenths off the pole time. Technically, it is his 3rd race since drivers school in March. I have no idea what is going on with this kid. I never expected this kind of performance from him, and I could not be more proud of him. It took me 6 years of Vee racing just to get my first trophy.

Really I have to give credit to my Dad he was the one who told me how much faster I could go and if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be going as fast as I am now.

I like chocolate pudding the best.

The problem with your dad passing down his speed is that you will never be as fast as him due to the speed inheritance tax. Much of the speed your dad worked hard to learn, pouring his blood sweat and tears into will now be taken by the redistribution system and given to those with inferior motors and aero deficiencies. Only about 60% of the previous generations speed will be passed down to you.
