Wanted: Beach or pre '80 Vintage Vee Project

We are looking for a Beach or Vintage Vee pre '80 to restore and race. A project, a roller, a basket case or more or less ready car. No trade in. Are there any projects around that one of you guys or girls want to let go / get rid off? Please let us know! We run a team of three cars, but we have sold one car to it's very convincing and determined first owner (and driver). So we're short one Vee...

Dutch,

It would help with what responses you might get if you let us know what organization you run with, and with what rules.

Where are you located? Need everything or will a roller suffice?

Thanks.

Good evening Rickydel,

We race the European Formula Vee class. 1-carb 1300 allowed for pre '73 cars, two carb 1300 allowed for pre '80 cars, 1600 aircooled Super Vee allowed for pre '76 and 1600 Super Vee watercooled allowed for pre ' 80 cars. Fixed workstrans for the 1300's, Hewland, ZF allowed for the Super Vees. Therefore a roller would suffice. Bodywork is important as we need to extract moulds from it. Initially we were looking for a Beach since we run one from 1998 (and old dad got his racinglicense in a Beach back in '67) but our initiative to get an American Vee to Europe is very well received here, so why not a Zink, Autodynamics, Lynx, RCA, Altona, Chinook, Caldwell, Formcar and so on. We are living in Amsterdam, Holland.

Regards,

Robert, Dutch Vee

Don't you guys in Yurrip run ball joint front ends? Does the spacing between the beams cause a problem?

I remember a Vee years ago that had 2 sets of dimples..one for the American set-up and one for the European setup.
