I just bought a clapped out formula vee that is tantalizingly complete, but I have no history. It came with a mold for fresh nose cones and a pile of parts.
The seller said the chassis was a Venus kit? Has anyone had any experience with the chassis?
It looks solid, bends are great, welds are solid.
Would appreciate any information.
Thanks!
Has anyone ever heard of a Venus kit?
Re: Has anyone ever heard of a Venus kit?
Sounds like a home built- one of a kind. Pictures might help.

Pictures attached. Nose is off, but it is not very unique.
Body is thick fiberglass. The cockpit edge and rear scoop behind the roll bar were added in sheet aluminum. There is a step/seam running along the beltline.
The car came with a supposedly fresh motor, spare carb and intake, and distributor in a crate. The shipping label names "Bob ***ner" from Bellevue Washington (the first couple letters are scratched out). Supposedly Bob was the engine builder.
According to Seller, last raced in the 80's and the engine was rebuild in the 90's.
I would appreciate any information!
