Leading arms..

Post by 77fmod »

I currently have a set of Caracal leading arms. (attached to the back of the chassis and go forward to the axles..) I am wondering what the weight of a set of Mysterian-type tubular ones is and what schedule tube they are made of and where I might find a set if I so desired..
All help would be greatly appreciated..

All the best,

Johnny B.

Jess Heitman in Portland Or can make these from chromolly, light and strong with buttressing. I had a set on my Caracal for more than 10years. 503 208 3712

For our Mr. Ian chassis I used 1-3/8" x .120" wall 4130 tube, gusseted below the shock pushrod attachment area. Don't know the weight. We have jigs for both sides here rusting away in outside storage...
