Looks like the only post on the FV Forum was on the day of the event?

Thankx, Looks like that Apex forum is the place to get ones Formula Vee information.

I found out about it since it was in the program. Did find the group and talked to Lisa and she said it was a last minute thing by VW. It is a shame they didn't let the fourm know about it since this is FV not apex site.Great weekend with sunny and warm weather, unfortunatly it is back to work today.

I was there at the original race. Little did I know, at 15, I'd be driving one of those things a couple decades later.

They used a configuration I've never seen since..no banking except the front start/finish. Entered the east end of the tri-oval through a fence, I think used as the drive over entrance to the infield.

I remember them being debuted..non-wankel plain jane stuff. People driving the poo out of those mundane vehicles.

Great old track..longer infield, no stupid bus-stop on the back straight.
