Head & Neck Mandatory 2012

Beginning January 1, 2012, Head and Neck restraints will become mandatory in SCCA Club Racing Regional, National and Driver School events.

Also the device must have either an SFI or FIA approval sticker on it. Early HANS devices did not carry an approval sticker and will need to be re-certified for use in 2012.

Nice... so the people who had them from the very beginning get to go through the hassle of that.

For something that appears to not have an experation date, might not be a bad idea once in a while.
