Does anyone, within driving distance of Tampa FL, have a halon onboard fire system they would be interested in letting go, cheap? My system has been kicked getting into the car too many times. The gauge reads really really low (too low to pass tech) and I don't have enough in the racing acct to spend for a new system (>$399). I have some FV things that I might trade. Call me John (813) 383-6980
Thanks.

I have a Halon system that I'm not going to use, is fully pressurized, and is in great condition. I live in Tarpon Springs, so call and maybe I can help you. 727-942-7668

Be careful - although it could be fine, it does not appear to have a remote cable for it. I'm not sure how you might be able to use it in a Vee - or if it's possible to convert to remote cable without discharging it.Veefan wrote:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/fire-bot ... arQ5fParts

Won't Donny Skaggs at Fire Bottle re-fill it for you? I know they don't make those systems anymore but they should be able to fill it if you walk in. I think they're in FL somewhere.

They refilled my bottle in 2008. I sent the empty bottle through the post office. I don't remember the price, but that shouldn't be hard to find.
