WTB: Scoop

Post by fvkartguy »

Does anyone have or know where I can get some kind of FV "hood" scoop?

Can you be more specific? Are you looking for a cooling scoop? Engine or oil? Are you looking for a NACA duct of some sort for the front of the car? I have no idea what you mean by "hood scoop".

Thanks!

I think it's the same scoop discussed in this "carb air scoop" thread:

Couldn't find a picture of any... except for this:

I might need a couple NACA ducts soon for another project, but I'm looking for a scoop to go just behind the driver's head to direct air to the carb and oil cooler.

Protoform formula vees use a good scoop that can be mounted on most Vees. Good for both cool air intake and oil cooling applications.

I have one that is gel coat white about half the size of the one pictured. Protoform design can be used for other makes.
$30.00 plus shipping costs.
