Altho there was rain Thur night and Fri, it appears that the storm has shifted path and moved thru more quickly than projected.
So the forecasted rain for Sat did not happen, and both qual sessions were on slicks.
The morning session was on a damp track, but by the afternoon there was sun which produced a fast, dry track.
With 4 drivers in the 26's and four more in the 27's, the race should be very entertaining.

Race Report -
A 5 car lead group of Oseth, Doug Voss, Bennett, Hannum, and Saltenberger quickly broke clear of a second group of Fultz, Adelberg, and Dan Voss. Behind the second group was a big group of Kleinklaus, Ashley, the Maloneys (Hugh, John, and Jack), and Oswald.
Early on, Dan Voss had an off and dropped back into the third group, which was stringing out.
By the second half of the race, Bennett and Hannum had drifted slightly back from Oseth, Doug Voss, and Saltenberger.
The lead three were exchanging the lead continually.
Behind Bennett and Hannum, Fultz and Adelberg had a race long battle, also continually exchanging position.
Kleinklaus pulled to the front of the next group and then broke clear to run by himself for the remainder of the race.
Dan Voss started to reel Kleinklaus back in, but then spun in turn 3, forcing Oswald and Jack Maloney off to avoid contact.
In the last phase of the race Hannum went of in turn 1, but managed to get back on still in front of the Fultz/Adelbert battle.
The battle up front was settled on the last lap as Oseth got the better run out of the carousel and the best of traffic up the hill.
