Hi:
Last weekend I had a flat tire, looks like a pointed rock, small hole. It is a new American Racer front tire this season with only 2 weekends. Hate to loss $100 worth of tire, would appreciate any comments, experience with repair such as "hot patch", plug or tube.

Dismount tire and hot patch is the safest and most reliable of those options.

Although I understand your desire not to waste a $100 tire. I question the value and safety of placing a "hotpatch"
on a racing tire. You maybe saving $100 in the short term, but costing yourself alot more in the long term if that
tire blows and you hit another competitor or the wall etc.....Just a thought!
