Parting Out Whole Formula Vee

Post by Bill_Bonow »

This started as a vintage Lynx B project and the car was purchased sight unseen (shame on us). When it arrived, it's actually a sort of Caracal C clone with plenty of mods. Might not be a bad car, but it's been parked outside in central California for a while. It's currently owned by Butch Deer and I will be sectioning it into (4) major selling items. The front beam assembly complete, the trans complete (think its a shortbox), the engine after complete rebuild and dyno from SRacing and the remaining chassis and components (most everything is there, but no log book). There are also (4) wheels with fossilized Dunlops mounted. All the components are in good shape, they just need TLC and some black paint. The car belonged to the "Speed Unlimited" guy out in Fresno, CA who owned a VW junkyard, so most everything looks to be original german OE VW parts

If interested, contact Butch Deer for prices. He wants to move these components out or if you're really in love with it, buy the whole thing and save me the hassle of taking it apart.

Matt,

Yes the car has a nose. Other than a battery and fire system, all of it is there (in need of major TLC, but all there). Please contact Butch and make him some reasonable offers (I'll leave the definition of reasonable up to you and Butch), I just want this thing out of my garage post haste.
