1970 King Solo Vee

Post by jthw8 »

1970 King formula vee prepped for solo. Recent built 1600 motor built to allowances of the class. Previous owner ran 2 hillclimbs on motor and I have done 4 autocrosses so it is still very fresh. Roxanne stainless header installed, webber 40 carb. Everything is very fresh and clean.

Great running car, well suited to big drivers (Im 6.0 and was 220lb when I started with it, previous owner was 6'2" and 220)

Comes with steel wheels with 20x7 mounted up front and 22x9 mounted in the rear, these tires are almost new (2 autocrosses on them) and 2 brand new sets in the same size are also included. (working from memory on tire sizes so I will confirm and update if incorrect) Tires are goodyear.

No complaints at all with the car I am just burnt out on the sport and ready to move on to other interests. After a few years of not having fun with other cars I had hoped returning to Solo Vee would respark my interest but its not and Id rather let the car go to someone who will have some fun with it.

As a bonus I can offer a vinyl graphics package with classnumbers, team logo or whatever else the buyer would like within reason.

Asking $3000, open to offers.
Will include 6x12 flatbed trailer for an additional $900

Located in Mullica Hill, NJ (just outside Philadelphia)

No problem, didnt know where you were looking to be price wise.
Shoot me an email and we can discuss where you want to be and what, if anything, we can work out.

$3000 takes it without the trailer. That's as low as it goes.

If anyone is interested in it for vintage/vee use Id be willing to discuss selling it cheaper without the 1600 motor or wide 13 wheels (will include a set of 15x4s with older race tires)

I do have the old log books.

I'm looking for a Solo Vee car (for AutoX) but don't know much about them. Your in the right price range, but to far away from me! Although I do have a friend in NJ who might look at it for me.
