It's time for a new engine.

Post by Lynn »

I won FM at the St. Louis Road Tour, but parts of the engine were returned to me in a plastic bag. Fine pieces of magnesium and steel are scattered all over Madison County, IL. You can put your fist through the hole in the case. I had just shifted into 4th when it went bang.

It was a fast course. I got to experience helmet aero lift.

Small price to pay for the joy of sending a snowmobile home from a Tour event without a trophy.....

Have a buddy that use to run Formula Ford. Had trouble with his vision going blurry on the straights. Turns out the helmet aero lift was picking up his glasses enough to have him looking out the trifocal part of the lens.

Congrats Lynn - I have had multiple failures the past year with Labor Day Barber event having the end of the rod break off #2 and bust thru the case flip and hammer #4 before I shut it off during pace lap. I have another dropped in a few weeks ago so I can be ready for the 50th.
