FM Brake rules clarification

Post by Lynn »

The SEB has issued a clarifiecation of the rear brakes rules in the March Fastrack. The rear brakes may be two pieces. The rotor must be ferrous, but the hub or hat may be ferrous or aluminum. Happy disk brakes, everyone. [:D]

Did you also notice that they clarified the rules on intake and exaust valve sizes--it seems now that instead of the 35.5/32 we can use the previous 39/32 sizes on the 1915 engine!

39/32 were the sizes from last year for the 1600cc, right?

Johnny,

Yes, 39 and 32 mm valve sizes are the ones currently legal for a Solo Vee. By the way, we can thank Chuck
Voboril (member of the MAC) for his help clarifying the rear disc brake and valve size rules.
