vintage generator wiring

Trying to wire up a generator dash warning light. One lead from dash light goes to the voltage regulator (terminal 61) and the other goes to?
From what I can gather from various wiring diagrams the other lead from the warning light goes to the 12volt + "on" side of the ignition switch. Can anyone confirm this?

That's how mine is wired. One side to #61 on regulator and the other to switched "on" side of ignition switch. If using an LED watch for correct polarity of light.
