Need photos of Autodynamics MK1 Rear Frame

Post by 1969zeitler »

Anyone have any photos of a MK1 rear frame? I need to see what the engine, trans and suspension mounts and frame look like. Thanks.

It's an early Autodynamics, but I do not think it's an MK1

Great photos. Thanks. The MK1 is a little different in the back. It looks more like a Beach frame because it has a V-shaped piece that supports the rear of the transaxle. I have a chance to buy a bare frame but it is missing the rear vertical supports that mount the suspension. Trying to figure out what it looked like. Maybe I should be looking at Beach Frames since there should be more of them. The photos of the battery mount and shift rods were also a great help. Thanks again.

Found a great photo of the frame. I kept looking thru your Flickr photos (they are a great source by the way...) and found one. It may be a beach but it looks almost the same. I guess they copied each other back then. It is the frame from a red VEE #99. Thanks for the link!

Does anyone know who owns the red car #20 that is on page 6 of the NARRC Runoffs photos? That is a heavily modified Zeitler. I sure would like to contact him for some ideas.
Thanks,
