THE "Mountain Vee" a rescue Vintage Vee which last raced in the San Francisco region of the SCCA is for sale ... It is basically in the old fashioned "kit car" condition (you add the VW parts and pieces) ...
This machine is set up for a driver with broad "shoulders", and it ran with an early version of zero roll. The rear control arms are rear-attaching. There's a carb, wheels, tires, and a few other spares.
Located in Duarte, Calif. we're going to put it out to the public next week at $750 (will deliver up to 50 miles) but we're putting this deal out to the Vintage Vee Forum at $500 firm/cash/no delivery for a week or so (11.28.09).
Understand this is a complete basket case, and needs someone who has good mechanical skills (and who wants to go Vintage Vee racing on the cheap).
