Saturday Sprint race cancelled with cars gridded up due to lightning and danger to corner workers. It would have been a good Wet Willie, fer sher, had we run it!

The Bill Milner memorial race on Sun. AM was run on a drying track and top 10 results are:

1. G. Van Camp @ 1:28:509 / 18:05:778 TOTAL TIME
2. R. del Rosario @ 1:28:253 / 18:15:966
3. M. Jackson @ 1:28:037 / 18:16:146
4. G. Baker
5. F. Newton
6. G.Drysdale
7. E. Coppock
8. R. Dennehey
9. M. Kitzmiller
10. E. Dean

It was a good clean, fast race and a tribute to our much missed friend, Bill Milner. We wore commemorative stickers on our cars in Bill's honor. His wife Janine joined us for the weekend.

Sorry, I had to leave before the afternoon race so will have to rely on someone else to post those results.

Here are the results for the Sunday afternoon race.

1. F. Newton @ 1:27.501 / 17:48.660 total time
2. J. Janus @ 1:28.028 / 17:51.313
3. R. Dennehy @ 1:29.277 / 18:02.435
4. M. Kitzmiller
5. D. Charnetski
6. C Arrogante
7. R. Hann
8. R. Bolhous

The weather was great for the afternoon race and everyone ran very consistent lap times. The event was top notch and it was great seeing so many Vees at the event. Look forward to doing it again next year.

Went and watched this event and I was really impressed with the quality of the cars and driving. Can't wait to get my vintage cars going.
