Hughie,

I didn't see you after the race, but Guy had his shift linkage break as he arrived in tech, and I had
a cracked right rear drum that Guy also spotted in tech while we waited to be released. Both of us
got lucky! Good to see you and your family again!

Mark,

We saw Guy after the race and he told us about the shifter. I didn't know about your drum. You had a good race for the first 1/2. Guy and Curt took off. I had the right rear brake line fail about lap 7. It was hard to slow it down, I fell off at turn 2 and lost the draft with Rick.
The Pittsburgh Region did a good job. All the workers were so nice and easy going. I like running with them,. The track is fun to drive.
Are you going to Pocono? It is fun playing in the draft on the oval.

Hughie,

You're correct, they did a good job (workers) at the track and made the best of several incidents thrown
at them. Not a good place to lose your rear brakes with all of the 45-90 degree corners and hard braking
zone on the back straight. I'm not going to Pocono, but will be crewing for my son Brian this weekend at
Nelson, then Chumpcar at Michingan International in late August, and then the DBL. Regional at M-O on
the Labor Day weekend. I'm currently planning on attending the Runoff's as a spectator, so maybe I'll see
you and your crew out there. Either way, good luck at Road America!
