Watkins Glen

Post by problemchild »

So there's more than 20 FVs at the Glen yesterday.
Everybody says "promote FV" but a hundred or so people cannot be bothered to post a report or cut and paste results .......

I always see people on here who I know have been at races and they never post reports. This was probably the biggest FV race in the country before the Runoffs .... surely people across the country would like to know what happened. With all the BS there is to deal with in our hobby, the racing is what its all about. Why keep it a secret? Share! Pictures, videos, reports, gossip ..... make us all wish we were there!

Gee - give them a chance to get home and unpacked - used to be we had to wait for Competition Press (Autoweek) to come out 2 weeks later- now we want reports as they roll off the track :P

Has anyone come up with a set up live wi-fi so we can watch the races?

Actually, Atlanta Region has been doing LIVE TIMING of our events for the last half of the season (at Road Atlanta). The info is on our website (http://www.AtlantaSCCA.org). As far as I know it will also be live for this upcoming weekend. Although it might not carry as much WEIGHT as the WGI Double Nat, it's still a pretty good race weekend 8)

At such a well attended event, how well does the Glenn paddock accommodate all the competitors?

Easily. There was plenty of room, with whole section cordoned off.
