Join two small regions who combine to make you feel welcome at the Nashville SuperSpeedway Double SARRC/ECR-ProIT/Test Day Fathers Day weekend June 17-19, 2011. Garage rentals are available. We have installed temp showers, and we are looking at a new tradition called "exchange a beer".
NOTE TO ALL FORMULA CAR DRIVERS: The past events have had a small turnout of wings and things and open wheel. Those groups are combined since we have had as few as 5 running at the end of the race. If enought Vee's/CF/FF/FST's want to get together I can propose a seperate group or split start but I need you to send me an email with a request to my attention (name/member number/class) to m.rothermel@hotmail.com

Thanks for your help and time - looking forward to our 4th year of road racing at NSS for Tennessee Valley / Chattanooga Regions SCCA

So far we're the largest subscribed class there, even more than the Miatas! Let's hope the overall car count improves!

Okay, everybody, we need a little help here! If you're coming, please go ahead and register. Our count is 44 for SARRC as of today, and that's well below our break-even point!

Did we mention the Saturday night beer exchange??? Bring some of your favorite local brew and trade with others and try their favorites. There will be at least three Chattanooga breweries represented if I have anything to do with it!

The track is quick and demanding, with 1:13 laps in a Vee and, of course, more laps per race (22)! No Spec Fords in our group, just wings and things, currently a couple of DSRs, one F1K, three FMs and three Vees.

This is a double event, with 20 minute qualifying sessions both days, plenty of time to get familiar with the track.

Early registration will close June 14 11:59am and we have 4 Vee's so far in a good group. Entry count is better and the weather is looking hot and very little chance of rain.

Congrats to Anthony Henderson winning both races at NSS this past weekend.
On Saturday in wet track conditions
Anthony Henderson
Bill Hall
Mike Chandler
Mark Rothermel
Sunday was just Anthony
My camshaft decided to break on cool-down lap on Sat for some reason, Bill had a slipping clutch and well Anthony had it all to himself.

We are looking at a new date next year.
