Spindle Checking device

As I was checking one of my spindles yesterday, I thought I should share my 'device' info with the group - then I remembered I already did some time back (years). This morning, I decided to double check for my post and it appears that although I did build a web page for it, I never got around to actually POSTING my info. SO.. for any of you that can't quite figure out a good easy way to check for a bent spindle, here it is...
http://www.WedgeRacing.com/spindles .
This is a really cheap, but quite accurate tool that can be used with the spindle still mounted on the car. It weighs next to nothing and isn't too difficult to make, although it almost DEMANDS access to a lathe.

Works GREAT. Unfortunately, it confirmed that my spindle *IS* bent
Hope this is useful to someone out there.

Nice piece, what's the cost for making a compliment? :P

Hmmm. For the $1000 fee paid for me to duplicate the tool, are you supplying the PVC?
Your answer will help me decide whether or not I proceed.

Nope. You have to provide your own. I did say "please", so I guess that means the $1000 is optional :) ...it's worth every penny when you need it.

I'll need to see the inside of your toolboxes the next time we cross paths. :)
