Thinking of swiping this idea for my FV. If the tank is a fuel-safe type, would this pass tech? I will assume at the very least that the filler would have to be moved.

If produced by a SFI approved supplier, and the filler neck is not outside the body, the tank would be legal. The cost of one off fuel cells( nearly $900 at last look) is very expensive and would be a major consideration.
