The FV Ad Hoc Committee met on September 28

Old business:
Fred reported that the question about link pin- king pin bushings that we have discussed in recent meetings has been addressed by the F/SRC and CRB. Due to other priorities, namely the Runoffs, publication in Fastrack has been delayed - the next edition of Fastrack should contain a "clarification" statement regarding the intent of the allowed "offset suspension bushings" and associated "clearancing". See the June, 2011 Committee minutes for more information.
New members:
A number of applicants, chosen by their geographic location and their demographic representation, will be contacted to confirm that it is still their desire to serve, and their names will be published after our October meeting.
Just as an FYI for those who were not at the Runoffs. It was suggested that some sort of recognition be given to the efforts of Bill Noble. The Committee had decals made in the shape of Bill's distinctive orange valve covers. These decals, carrying the words “Bill Noble Formula Vee Thanks You” were given to all competitors at the Runoffs. Contributions were also (gratefully) accepted from a few drivers who received decals during the Runoffs. The balance of the cost to be covered by monies from donations made previously to the Committee towards the now apparently defunct FV DVD. Left over decals will be available for the MARRS - Bill Noble Memorial race Oct 8-9.
If there is significant demand , the Committee ( namely Bruce Livermore) could order more decals.
