High Torque Starter .. part number or sell?

Post by FV80 »

Looking for the adjustable 'clocking' starter with the included bushing. Weight isn't my issue -- I have a trans housing with an unusable starter bushing hole. Can't think of an easier way to solve the issue than replacing the starter. Pointers to starter or bushing solutions welcome  . I seem to recall someone posting a Part Number for that starter some time (years?) back - but can't find it now.

Steve, I just bought one, it's a Hi-Torque part number AC 903951 or IMI-105.

Steve if the stock unit will not clock for you shoot me a pm . I have modified the nose mounts so they lay all the way over on the tranny.

Thanks, Dave. I have one now, but have not yet tried to install it on the trans. I'll be looking to do what you did since my goal is to lay it right against the trans housing. A pic of your mod would be appreciated.
