For those using the 009 distributor and the tiger tail points (white striped or 092) ,my supplier has informed me that Bosch will no longer be making these units. The 044 points will work, but the 092's have a slightly stronger spring and a longer wire and are preferred. So, get them from your sources while you can.
Before this turns into a discussion about the advantages and disadvantages of points vs. electronic ignition, this post is an FYI about parts availability.
