I still have the Solovee 1915 engine with a pair of Delorto 48's. Can only use 1 of them in C-Mod so you will have a spare. Engine has only a few miles on it and never raced. $1500. 1 1600cc dual port engine with dual weber IDF 40's. $650. I also have 2 transaxles, drum to drum. They came out of running FV's. $200 each. 1 FV intake manifold and FV-modified carb. $175 for both. Lots of misc stuff like a brand new pair of cylinder tins for $40.

Do you still have the gearboxes? If so, what are their conditions?
Short or long box?

btw - was the ASP the one previously owned by Gordon Drysdale?

Everything is gone. Gave the ASP with front beam, transaxle and suspension to a Friend who helped me with my FV over the years.
Gave the 2 transaxles and 5 sets of FV exhaust headers to 2 other FV guys who helped me.

Thanks to everyone else who gave me advice and help.

My friend and I bought a nest of ASP vee's (picked up 3.. nest, hehe, get it? snakes...) and one of them was the Gordon Drysdale car. Here is its current condition...

If anyone has any way to get in contact with Mr Drysdale, I have some questions I would like to ask him about this car.
Sorry to dig up old threads... I just had no way of tracking down Gordon other than web searches which landed me here.
I thought I would join since I will be restoring a couple of these cars in the coming year.

Carry on.

I haven't talked to Gordon in a long time. But, I have 2 email addresses. One might still work.
Btw, I'd love to have those Asp cars to do mysel. They are cool.
Oh, and yes, I did get the snake joke
