header parts

Post by jmattox »

We wasted our flat 4 into 1 collector at Daytona. Repairs have been made but, we would like another collector. We have a 1979 Vista Bushwacker w/ zero roll suspension and a tight budget. Suggestions?

if your exhaust looks like 2 8's next to eachother 88 find yourself an old set of regular car hedders and cut the pipes near the collector, cut off the exhaust flange at the end and you should be set. you may have to extend the pipe with a peice of tubing to get past your body work in the back but that is the easy part. I am sure this is not the HOT setup and you may lose a small amount of hp but it will get you back on the track cheap
