Bob Cornish?

Post by FV80 »

Anyone know how to get in touch with Bob Cornish? Does he have an email address? I'd like to talk to him about Petunia .. assuming he still has her.

What is the history on 'Petuna'? Is it a copy of the original Nardi?

It was one of the original vees. All Formcars were copied after the Nardi. Petunia had a long history during the earlier period. Pictures of the car with number 22 and original livery appear in some of the original "Vee Line" mailers from the 60's. Bob owned the car for a long time and actually qualified the car for the Runoffs one year finishing 9th at Atlanta. I think it was around 86 or 87. I believe he still owns the car.

Steve,

Call Ron Chuck on his cell. He should be on his way to SEMA this morning. Driving there with Don Manthe.

Cornish showed up at a race at Thunderhill a few years ago. I think he was living in Reno.
