Vee Lift Winch

Post by satterley_sr »

My superwinch X1 on my lift seems to be going dead. With new ones about $350, are there a cheaper substitutes?

Thanks

I looked but they have a remote that does not seem to be very dependable.

Be careful of the cheap models. The winch should not be a free wheeling type. It should be electrically driven in and out. You don't want a car dropping by mistake. Cheaper versions seldom have the power to do the job as well. Go online and look around. There's quite a price range. Outfits like Grainger are expensive. Look at Northern Tool.
