Got this e-mail to-day

Dave

Hi Dave, I was clicking thru the Samba and remembered that you asked about the Type4

engine gasket set being the same for yhe 912E. But I found your site and was very impressed

with the work you are doing with FV cars. My brother and I had a lot of fun back in the day

with FV,as he was national champion in 1966 and 1967. Bill Campbell.

We got the first car from the Old Colonel Smith in Orlando FL, called Formcar. in 1965.

Went thru that one in a hurry, it was slow. The next ones were a blur and wound up with

a Zink. Went thru a couple of those until he went into Super Vee. A good long junt in this

class. I have attached a couple of pics, the bottom is at Courtland Ala and the other wreck is the same car much later. I will keep your website on my favorites list and check to see how you are doing. Good luck.

Happy Hollidays.

Anna,
Looking through the photos, I found a Lobo in picture #78. Does any one have more info on this car? I have one of the 2 that were built in my garage. The person I got it from had almost no information.

Thanks
Dave
