2nd: Pete Nielsen/ BRD (?)
3rd: Al Spadin / Protoform P2
4th: Jim Rowland / Protoform P2
5th: Phil McSherry / (?) brain fade
6th: Dennis Potocki/ BRD Flamingo
7th: Rick Ruckman / Mysterian

** the race started with the 3 F500's lined up 1st through 3rd at the green, but Rick Ruckman (polesitter/ FV) got past the 3rd place
F500 on the 2nd or 3rd lap and pulled out a 10 second lead over the FV's of Johnston, Nielson and the rest of the group who remained
trapped by the F500. By lap 8 or 9, Johnston & Nielson got past the 500 and seperated themselves by several seconds to the main
group of Rowland, Spadin, McSherry and Potocki who was playing a waiting game seeing that the mid-pack of drivers were going
at it pretty good. With two laps to go, Rick Ruckman's right rear suspension collapsed under braking for turn 12 and he spun to halt
on the outside of turn 12 in the grass. It was a heart breaking end to a dominant race that saw Rick 12+ seconds up over the 2nd
place car of Jay Johnston. As a result of Rick's departure, Jay Johnston took the point and held off a pressing Rick Nielson who tried
to force Jay into a mistake but to no avail. I have to congratulate the entire field for an aggresive but clean race with no visible
bonehead moves observed. Congrats to Jay and it was great seeing everyone yesterday! Sorry about the lack of times but I had
to depart before they became available.
