Re: Setup for sweeper and hairpin turns
Brian M. I would like to understand better the effect of ackerman / non ackerman on the Vee. Am I wrong in assuming that zero ackerman is better for high speed stability/speed, and some ackerman is good for turn in- transition in slow speed stufrf? Larry Bacon

Re: Head and Neck Restraints
Good to see this thread come up. Having survived a really nasty incident in 06 ( end over end, cartwheel, knocked out, eyeball almost out of socket), I was to quote the ER MD, " lucky to be moving" since I was not wearing a H&N device. I bit the bullet and purchased a 30 degree from Ji...

Re: january florida national
Brian hits excellent points. At least here in San Francisco Region, there seems to be a "there will always be more people to play" attitude. Well, SCCA is not the only sanctioning group out there. NASA has made small forays into Formula Car Racing. As more and more private "Country Cl...

American Racer Tire mounting issue
I am having a tough time getting the American Racer Tires to seat correctly on the later model replacement rims. Apparently, the later rims have a safety bead and I have tried every trick I can think of! Any ideas?
