Re: Tire Balancing

Sure they do, Wanna Race??? Actually Veefan they do not. 120 to maybe 125 at Road America with a draft is common. You have to realize that we are all "Formula " drivers, which means we are all a little Whacked in the head to begin with. The above banter is just very tongue in cheek humor, ...

Re: vintage vee driving instruction

Well, at the risk of sounding cliche, the only real way to be a better vee driver as all driving , is to get out there and pound out the laps. You can get idea's but until you are behind the wheel it will be meaningless.

Re: vintage vee driving instruction

If the guys down there are anything like here in the midwest, all you have to do is ask. If there is one thing that vee drivers like to do better than actual driving , is teaching new guys. All you have to do is ask, or let the guys down there know that your new, and you will be amazed at the help t...

Re: On board camera suggestions

Read your instructions, the camera has a 10 second setting and if it is on this setting you will only get 10 seconds. I used mine the first day i got it and i recorded a complete 30 min practice then a 30 min race with no problems at all. good luck !

Re: Trailer e-track install - best location for a FV?

Like alot of others i have been tying down a FV and a FF for many years. I use axle straps 1 looped around each axle tube then straps rearward. In the front i tie either axle straps or just part of the strap itself around the bumper horns on the front tubes. then going forward. As stated earlier, yo...

Re: To Seal or not to Seal??? (Axle Boots)

You shouldnt have to use sealant if you use new boots and nuts and bolts. I also dont ever put the seam at the bottom. I put mine just a little up from horizontal with the seam facing to the rear. Make sure your axle tube is clean and in the horizontal position when you start. Put the boot on and ma...

Fitting in a car

Just a general question about fit. Im close to 6' and closer to 235 than i care to admit. I fit in Dons car right now (speed sport )-(Citation) with little room to turn the steering wheel. Im looking at Protoforms, Crusaders, Vortech, Womer, Adams etc. the question is, are any of these cars absolute...

Does he have a V8 in that thing? Pretty tough to run down Brad like that. Great Vid ! Pretty close call that second to last lap. I saw someone going on their ear for a moment. Lucky on that one. Thanks for the Vid and info !
