WOW! That is huge.... You are talking about that slab of concrete off to the west side, right? Is it undulating like most of those SAC fields? Is the concrete stable or broken up? Unfortunately due to taking a new job in Northwest Indiana, I have not finished with the changes on the car and will not make it to Nationals this year.

I'm not sure about the clearance issue but you may want to check the legality of running an adapter plate.. I may be wrong but I seem to remember that it is a no-no..
