Chuck:
My son and I just purchased a Citation roller from Jim several weeks ago, and he was very generous with the price and
extra parts he threw in for no additional charge!

Re: High Brake Pedal Pressure
Mike, I have the opposite problem! Both my son and I continue to lock up the front right at Nelson Ledges turn 12 and Beaverun's turn 10, to the point that were almost cording the tires. I've tried the following since obtaining the car (the previous owner had a similiar problem) .... 1.) Had the dru...

Or maybe you don't have a dead-peddle for the clutch foot, and you're bumping or placing pressure on the clutch peddle causing it to go into neutral when you encounter a bumpy section of track ?? Mark P.S.: My son had the same problem several times on Sunday, but I didn't encounter it the previous d...

Dietmar,
If someone can track down Curt Bennett, he might be interested in those trailing arms since his P-1 still
uses them! I believe he resides in Pennsylvania, possibly near Pittsburg?

We had twelve vee's on Sunday which is the largest number for a regional in several years! Earlier this year, we
had 17 Vee's at the Nelson National and 17 at the M-O National, but the regional numbers have suffered!

Thanks Hughie! I had a fun weekend but wish I had more time to speak with you! We had several issue's with the car and it took away from my free time. Ray and I had a blast on the damp track Saturday and it seemed I would throw it off the track on every lap trying to keep up with him! Thanks again a...

Re: Eerily quiet,,,,
Steve: Rick Ruckman got caught up in the T1 fracas and bent his beam back 1-2" causing his lap times to skyrocket since he was dragging around an out of alignment front tire that became worn down to the cord. At least he finished but not in the position he expected. Again, congrats to everyone!...

Re: Beaver Run/Pitt Race National 7/29/2010
Hughie, You're correct, they did a good job (workers) at the track and made the best of several incidents thrown at them. Not a good place to lose your rear brakes with all of the 45-90 degree corners and hard braking zone on the back straight. I'm not going to Pocono, but will be crewing for my son...

Hughie,
I didn't see you after the race, but Guy had his shift linkage break as he arrived in tech, and I had
a cracked right rear drum that Guy also spotted in tech while we waited to be released. Both of us
got lucky! Good to see you and your family again!

How about a thinner gauge floor pan in aluminum if it's not already done.

Ricky,
I plan to attend as a spectator and look forward to seeing the vintage vee's again! Too bad
we can't get close to that number except for the Runoff's, and I don't think they made 40 in 2011.
Congrats on an always growing field...

Thanks for the explanation! I have welded spindles now that you described them, but for some reason couldn't
figure out what he meant at the time. Thanks again!

I damaged one of my Black Penske's at Nelson several weeks ago, so I rumaged around the garage and located a set of shocks that came with my car as spares. They're blue in color and have the name AFCO on them, plus "Made in the USA" stamped on them as well. Does anyone know anything about ...

Al,
I wouldn't be surprised if Hoosier introduces a 10% price increase before next year. I wouldn't blame them for
the decision since it makes good business sense for them now that Goodyear is out of the equation.

Re: Nelson Ledges
Mike: I'd love to come down to M-O (only 60 miles), but it's $125 cheaper to race at Nelson and it's only a two day event. I assume I'd also have to pay a late entry for M-O and that would push the cost to over $600.00, plus my son is racing at the Nelson regional in June, so I'd be looking at close...
