What about Appleton? NW and United fly out of there. About 45 min away. I just need to find an airport that other people will be flying out of so I can hitch a ride after the race.
Thanks for the info!

Re: ROAD AMERICA ROOMS AND RESTURANTS
I spoke to http://www.americinn.com today and got the # of the Plymouth hotel. They are releasing rooms Nov 1. I was #24 on the list of 30 or so available rooms. So, if you need something for around $100/nt, this is a good bet, but likely not for long.

Re: Low turnouts
I SCCA bureaucracy is worthless. What incentive is there for new recruits? Can't even get corner workers anymore, the absolute unsung heroes of SCCA racing. Sure, costs have escalated, but if we were getting the bang for the buck, it would be a non-issue. I don't even go to the track anymore. Kinda...

Re: Fitting in a car
I believe you should be thinking about whether you can ever make minimum weight in FV with any of the mentioned manufacturers. At 235 lbs you should seriously consider F1st. I have the prototype VDF and I bought the car from a 6"-1" 200 lb man and he made minimum weight in FV. It was a ti...

Re: Revamped National Racing Program and Runoff???
Above all - I think the LOCATION of the Runoffs should be a place where people WANT to go - not where they HAVE to go to run the Championships...! e.g. I live in GA - but if the Runoffs were held at Laguna Seca, I would work HARD to get there, even as far as it is ... 2nd Creek Raceway? .. not so m...
