Re: Front Offset Spindle Bushings
Hey Guy, what was the max camber you could get on the Jacer you ran back in 2007, to me that seemed to have the most neg camber out of all the cars i can remember on the grid? personally going past -2 on the fronts is about as far as you need to go. anymore is not going to have the same performance ...

kev, I would be happy to try your car out at shannonville, I've got a lot to do on mine to get ready for shanonnville, and i might be a little rusty since i havent been in a car for over a year, but I would be willing to throw some laps on it to give you my feedback. i've won there and always run we...

Re: Mosport F1200 May 7-8
the cars are too light to generate any significant heat into the tire, there's simply too much tire, kumho's were the same way but the compound was much tackier, hence less wear rating. our "spec" tires are made for 3000lb cars i've tried all kinds of setup trying to get more heat into the...

Re: F1200/Vee makes national paper
hey kevin, i raced at WRKC against you numerous times and you whipped my butt, having raced f1200 for 4 seasons i can say that (my old car is run by the Bonaldo's now) we came to F1200 because of its equality and simplicity of the equipment. having raced at the front of the grid with that car agains...

Re: F1200/Vee makes national paper
any PR is good PR, what we know vs the general public is like picking at mushrooms in your pizza. other series/formula would love to have that kind of exposure in any country Imagine having that in say USA today for comparison sake. most stuff that hits the news these days is anti-regional racing li...

Re: Sticky gears
i've only ever used 2nd on race starts a few times depending on where i am on the grid even then its pretty useless. even the tightest hairpin at shannonville which would be ideal for 2nd gear isnt worth going for cuz it'll mess you up, plus the gear runs out pretty quick on acceleration your're bet...

Re: Mosport F1200 May 7-8
the difference is minimial from what i've read. the construction and sidewall are identical but the tread compound is different. from auto slalom and larger cars the reports are more consistency over a run and slightly grippier. for the 1200's i would think it instills a little more confidence to th...

Re: Mosport F1200 May 7-8
sounds about right greg
as soon as it get to be a 5 car lead pack with no breakaway it could easily grow to 7 or 8 or more potentially
that's nice to hear about the tires being a little better with the "K" spec

Re: Mosport F1200 May 7-8
looking at my laps suggests the 1.43 was heavily draft assisted or some lap of the gods where it all went perfect??? looks like mid 1.44's seems to be the pace judging from the trophy race times. the 4 second gap to the rest is quite surprising though, i've never seen that with a grid of 18 cars at ...

Vee racers near Port Huron MI
I live close to the border near Port Huron and I'm looking for someone who would allow me to ship some tires that we run in the ontario F1200 series to their address and I could pick them up upon arrival. If anyone near the Port Huron or Detroit border wouldn't mind the trouble you'd be saving me qu...

since i'm not an actual rep or anything for the ontario f1200 series, and do not want to misrepresent the FTDA in any way, i would suggest anyone interested in our series visits our website http://www.formula1200.com and you can find email addresses to our executive. theres also some useful informat...

Re: F1200
as an f1200 driver in a "regional" series, thought i would touch on the average age of our drivers. not gonna touch anything else. on the surface we look to be the same, but i think there are a lot of differences and when you break things down, the way we do things here wouldnt work down t...

Re: Tires?
regarding shocks and kumho's in canada, virtually everyone runs the stock dampers...this is what i was talking about restricting the costs in other areas, as a group no one goes out and buys "all the fast bits" becuase it hurts us all if one person does it as far as quality of racing. mean...
