Re: NARRC Runoffs

I am very concerned about the grouping with NCF's at LRP even though I'm aware that FF's did run with FV and F500 at the National race. Based on the results (NESCCA.com) there was a 7 second differenial between the FF's and FV's. In a 32 lap race that equates to 224 seconds or being lapped 4 times b...

Re: LimeRock no longer a momentum track

Chris,
You mention a left right transition in what was west bend. Does this change the track such that the main straight is possible with a short box? Any thoughts.

Re: Trailer Question?

Jerry, You are asking a tough question because trailer needs cover a lot of ground. In my own case I have a 7x14 double axle, electric brakes, although I suppose I could have opted for a single axle trailer. Because my wheels are mounted outside the box, (I think typical to a 7 ft trailer), the enti...

Re: VeeFest'08

Having watched the race as a spectator from the oval grandstands, the racing proved excellent throughout the field throughout the weekend. There was a lot of tight racing and good efforts by many drivers and it was exciting to watch. Like always the FV guys made it a point to help each other includi...

Re: Trailer e-track install - best location for a FV?

Keith, You don't need a lot to secure a FV. I bought a (7x14) enclosed motorcycle trailer a couple years with the etrack preinstalled. Two short pieces of etrack are in the back on the floor "against the trailer walls", and D rings are located and used upfront. This allows the car to be an...

Re: Promoting Formula Vee

Any chance of making the FV Registry at the new site secure site using https:\\ ? You are asking for information including my SCCA # (although not required) that I would rather not share. While I know this is new, there should also be a terms of use that describes what you will and won't do with the...

Re: New HANS device info

I read somewhere that this device is a half a pound heavier than the carbon composite unit. While I found a used Hans last year at a good price, I would expect that this $695.00 model is not suitable for FV as the angle is likely wrong. From my perspective I have an issue with a 20 degree unit at on...
