Dean,
Butch is taking 4 cars down to the 45th. I'd bet there is room for one of those old Knapp fiberglass engine crates, as long as it is clean (dirt/grease/oil free).

Re: Who Is going?
Bruce,
That will be quite a trip for you guys from the Bay Area. It will be good to see you again at the birthday party. Any chance of dragging Marty along?

Re: FV Party Info
Fred, We are well on our way to bringing 20 Formula First cars to the 45th. However, at T-minus 58 days, many of the guys are asking about registration and schedule information. The website is a great source of communication, but currently much of the needed info is "coming soon". Any chan...

Re: New HANS device info
About 20 years ago..... Not to be a smarty pants (yea, right), but I believe that the patent laws have been changed in more recent years. I think the goverment saw it as another potential source of income and "redesigned" the concept of a patent so that just about anyone with cash and a p...

Maybe most have missed the question posed by Greg (100+ veiws ?).
It's a long tow for many, just curious who has plans to attend this event?

I started in FV a couple years ago when FST was gaining popularity and I believe that this split has done exactly what Kevin is talking about. Rather than focusing on promoting our sport, we bicker between the two camps (FST and FV) and as a result I think it is hurting the numbers for both. I am n...

Thank you for the kind words Mike :D Pre-40th, Grant Reynolds kept telling me that a Zink on Hoosiers would never be fast and never even close to his Zink. Funny, but after the first qualifying session, Grant didn't come around our paddock for the rest of the weekend. I don't know if it was the car,...

Re: Dunlops v Hoosier
I have heard that the Dunlops are faster Sticky yes, but I would argue about "faster". I ran a set of Hoosiers at the 40th in a '68 Z-5 Zink and found them to be better than the "sticky" Dunlops. I still don't think any monoposto FV has gone faster than 2:56 at Road America. Bei...
