Fast National Vee going (too) cheap

I'm too busy (and not making enough money) to go racing these days. The vee has to go. This is one of the quickest vees around. It won the 40th and 45th West Coast Anniversary Races, has gone top 15 at the Runoffs twice, won 3 of its last 4 races and appeared on the front cover of FormulaCar Magazine...

Re: West Coast 45th Birthday

Gents,

here's a very professional video of the 45th race from Terran. Those of you who've seen Grand Prix the movie will recognize the inspiration for the start.

Re: Aim Mychron3 Dash Data Logger

I have the MXL which is the next step up, but shares many of the same features. I can say the customer service is very good, they are constantly updating the analysis software. We had a very specific development goal when we bought it and its been very helpful in that regard. I wouldnt say it has he...

Re: tire grooving

We have a groover and once its hot and the blade is the right way around (I learnt this from experience!) its cuts through the rubber like butter. If you had some way of holding the wheel and tire I think it would be relatively easy to do with one hand. Maybe you could borrow a groover and give it a...

Aaron,

if you're dad is like my dad, you'll never be faster than him. The older my dad gets, the faster he was. Well done at T-hill.

Re: West Coast 45th Birthday

Wow, what a weekend! We had two races, the first was the last regional race of the year, the second the official 45th birthday race with Vees having the whole track to ourselves. Going into the regional race there were three guys all within a couple of points of winning the championship - Brian Swan...

West Coast 45th Birthday

Hi All, there's a big group of vees at Thunderhill, 3 hours north of San Fran, for the West Coast 45th Anniversary race this weekend. I dont know how many regional and division champs there are exactly, but the field is deep and fast. The track has been resurfaced so its billiard table smooth and it...

is that a trailer or a cube truck? i always thought a cube truck would be a better way to go than needing a big enclosed trailer and a 3/4 pickup to tow it

Re: Andres Serrano update

Andres was very succesful when he raced in the Uk championship in the late 90's. He had some very succesful battles with an Irish guy called Ray Moore. I think they traded championships for a few years. I never raced against him there but did get to race against him at the runoffs in 05 i think. It ...
