Re: Wheel cover ban

I still believe that if Kohanski had come out with "monster-mannies" they would still be legal......[/quote] That is an uninformed statement. You need to go back and look through the minutes of the FV Committee. I did not attend most of the FV Committee sessions when manifolds were discuss...

Re: VDF vs. Citation?

The Citation and Citation XTC-41 are excellent cars. Fast, easy to work on, great support from Larry Campbell and they fit a wide variety of drivers. The main difference between the guys in the front and the back. Preparation! Just a side note: A Citation XTC-41 holds the track record at Blackhawk F...

Re: Lazer owners and former owners

Hi G, Feel free to call or send me an email. I purchased and built a new lazer kit from Larry Campbell in 1990. I drove the lazer from 1990 until 1999 when I purchased an XTC kit from Larry. I would be more than happy to talk with you about the lazer. I think its a great car. What is your definition...

Re: Shipping a FV cross country

HI Mark, You might contact some moving companies like Allied, Mayflower etc. You might be able to work a deal where they have a truck going cross country that might have some space available. Tell them you will drain the gas and oil. I had a friend back in the 80's who had a citation delivered from ...

Hi Hal, Thanks for the compliment. I put 1000 miles on it last summer going to cruise nights and shows. Re: Original 1200 Push Rod Length

Hey Brian, Its been a while. I hope things are going well for you. I thought about my post after I hit the send button. Yes, you are correct. The steel end. If my memory serves me there is only one end that has the steel part? I have not been racing the past few years but I am always busy working on...

Original 1200 Push Rod Length

Can someone tell me the factory push rod length for an original 1200 push rod in inches. Example 7.580 These are the push rods with the big aluminum ends.

This measurement is not the same as the stock 1600 push rod that we currently run and shorten to achieve max lift.

Thanks

Backing Plates

I have 8 front and 2 rear backing plates for sale. These still have the rust from the California desert and should clean up pretty nice. You might have to hammer out a dent or two but they are straight. $35 each. If you have any questions, please call 847-921-0936.

Thanks
